MAIN AIM OF THE PROJECT
At its core, the Erasmus program is driven by a multifaceted objective: to inspire and empower young individuals, fostering their active participation in societal affairs while concurrently deepening their affiliation with the overarching European project. This aspiration is realized through a dedicated commitment to providing informal learning avenues for youth via immersive exchanges. By transcending traditional educational frameworks, Erasmus endeavors to instill in participants a profound sense of agency and responsibility in shaping the societal landscape.
Central to Erasmus's mission is the promotion of active citizenship among its youth cohort. By encouraging and empowering young individuals to take on substantive roles within their communities, the program aims to cultivate a sense of ownership and belonging within the broader European context. Through these exchanges, participants are not only exposed to diverse cultural perspectives but also provided with opportunities to enact positive change, thereby reinforcing their connection to the European community.
Furthermore, Erasmus recognizes the pivotal role that such experiences play in the holistic development of individuals. Beyond cultural enrichment, these exchanges are structured to facilitate the acquisition of essential life skills and competencies vital for personal growth and professional advancement. By nurturing resilience, adaptability, and intercultural competence, Erasmus equips participants with a toolkit indispensable for navigating the complexities of an increasingly interconnected world.

In essence, the Erasmus program operates as a catalyst for societal engagement and personal development, weaving together strands of citizenship, cultural exploration, and skill acquisition to empower a generation of informed and proactive European citizens poised to shape the future of their communities and the broader European project.
The aim is to inspire and empower these young people to actively engage in society and strengthen their connection to the European project.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT
These objectives outline a comprehensive approach to youth work within the Erasmus Plus program, covering emotional, practical, and inclusive dimensions:
- Renewing emotional awareness and empathy: This objective suggests a focus on revitalizing or reinforcing emotional understanding and empathy among youth workers, likely through training and reflective practices. It emphasizes the importance of emotional intelligence in effective youth work.
- Cultivating emotional intelligence and empathy: Building on the previous objective, this objective highlights a deliberate effort to develop emotional intelligence and empathy as core competencies for youth workers. It suggests a structured approach to fostering these qualities, which are essential for building meaningful relationships and understanding the needs of young people.
- Equipping youth workers with the necessary skills and confidence to drive positive change in their communities: This objective underscores the importance of practical skills and self-assurance in empowering youth workers to be proactive agents of change. It implies a focus on training programs and capacity-building initiatives aimed at enhancing both technical and leadership abilities.
- Advocating for recognition and appreciation of the contributions made by youth workers: Here, the emphasis shifts towards recognition and appreciation for the vital role that youth workers play in their communities. This objective suggests advocacy efforts aimed at raising awareness of their contributions and promoting greater respect for their work.

It suggests a comprehensive strategy for equipping youth workers with the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary for effective practice within the Erasmus Plus framework.

The project emphasizes the use of diverse non-formal educational approaches to stimulate innovative thinking and facilitate personal growth. It covers areas such as self-improvement, coaching, time management, psychology, combating social and cultural biases, and various other topics that contribute to individual development. The goal is to share these methods through NGOs, supporting young individuals in leading balanced lives and improving their chances of employment.
